Intuitive app Blinx - which unifies and correlates companies’ data - on one highly visual platform has claimed March’s Merseyside Innovation Award (MIA).
Providing users with a fully integrated end-to-end solution, Blinx combines core ERP processes and business intelligence with gaming design principles to offer users advanced insight into their entire operation from procurement to logistics, finance to analytics.
After being implemented by Stobart Energy, the UK's number one supplier of biomass fuel and part of the Stobart Group, Blinx is already being integrated into multiple organisation’s internal infrastructures.
Blinx CEO, Gareth Bartlett, said: “As the former Director of Innovation & Information for Global Operations at AstraZeneca, I understood the irritation of being unable to access key information easily through a streamlined and succinct process.
“This frustration led to me create a more focused tool which heightened the user experience. Utilising techniques and design found in gaming apps, I developed Blinx with functionality at the forefront of its design to create something meaningful and useful to all levels of an organisation.
Gareth continued: “Blinx Solutions are incredibly passionate about creating technology which makes companies more efficient. The use of gamification in the development of Blinx is what differentiates it from other business intelligence platforms and is something that I feel is a key factor in Blinx’s success.”
Charlie Rea, Innovation Specialist at RTC North, continued: “With Blinx already being adopted by Stobart Energy, to achieve real-world savings across all levels of the business, this innovation is only going to continue to positively impact and change companies’ way of working.
“Blinx have already outperformed key competitors within the market and offer adaptable, cost-effective and more importantly, user-friendly technology any company can implement into their current business model. I for one, can’t believe this hasn’t been created before – the MIA panel simply had no other option than to award Gareth and Blinx with the monthly award!
