Easy Click

Motor Accessory Car Safety

logo.jpg

There are in excess of 37 million cars on the UK roads today, that’s a huge number of people putting seat belts on and that’s where Easy Click comes in. Easy Click makes putting a seat belt on easier. Now putting a seat belt on means, twisting from the bottom of the back and pulling the (male) part of the belt from head height across the chest. This is an awkward movement and puts many people off using there belt and therefore travelling safely

What prompted you to develop it?

The idea of safety in the car, a challenge to think of something to help to encourage people t ‘belt up’ and the financial incentive if the product would take off commercially.

Is it in production or use?

Not yet, the product has been designed by Innovate Design UK at cost of, in excess, of £2,000 but we need prototype in order to develop it further

Who inspires you?

Bill Shankly, for his determination, honestly and commitment

What do you hope to achieve in developing this innovation?

Some sort of validation for the last two years work
