Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) Ltd. Are the manufacturers of Mono, the world’s first road-legal single-seat production supercar. Formed in 2009 by brothers Ian and Neill Briggs, Mono entered production in Q4 2011. Aimed at drivers who seek precision of concept, purpose and driving experience, Mono sets a new benchmark in the small but elite segment of uncompromised, purist supercars.
The development of Mono was predicated on our belief that an ultra-lightweight design philosophy should be the basis of a new kind of supercar. In short; we didn’t see the car we wanted to own in the marketplace, so we set about creating one we did.
The launch of the car was an overwhelming success, with agreements in key markets creating an order book in excess of 200 cars on a 3 year time plan. BAC is exporting to over 11 countries across 4 continents and has dealer agreements throughout the world.
We take inspiration from all manner of entrepreneurs and businesses, whether it be James Dyson, Ron Dennis or Richard Branson. They all share a clear vision of what their brand represents and a positive 'can-do' attitude to business.
To continue to provide purist supercars of superior quality and an ownership experience that improves the lives of our customers. In doing so they will add profit and value creation, allowing our people, shareholders, and the communities in which we live and work to prosper.
